Time to add some color to my page! I just wanted to share with you one of the exciting projects I've been working on since December 2014--Disastercake's all new JRPG called "Soul Saga" which will be released for multiple systems (PC, Mac, Linux, and will be ported to PS4, WiiU, and PS Vita)

For more info about DisasterCake and its founder Mike Gale, go visit this link: About Disastercake but long story short, "Soul Saga" was Mike's "love letter to JRPG classics like Final Fantasy." It was successfully Kickstarted ( they received double the intended goal), and since then it's been in productive development. The premise is definitely classic, while the art and animations are top-notch. Everybody on the team has been hard at work, and it shows in the product.
THE MUSIC:
The amazing Aivi Tran worked on a lot of the music for Soul Saga but things got busy for her after getting the huge gig of composing for CN's Steven Universe. Another killer composer, Surasshu, also wrote some music for Soul Saga to take her place, but as Aivi's co-composer on Steven Universe, time was also limited. Shannon Mason also guest composed, and made some beautiful music. Terry Chandler made Soul Saga's current main theme- a JPOP/ROCK tune.
It's been a huge honor writing alongside these incredible musicians (even if we never really wrote music next to each other). They've been a huge source of inspiration for the pieces I've written. I look forward to hearing it all in action in the Soul Saga's final form, but for now, check this out: Soul Saga Beta Preview
I came into the picture late 2014, when I messaged Mike one day. It was good timing since all the composers were busy with their projects, and I just finished a full OST for Zigza Games' JRPG "Monster Island". Mike liked my music and gave me the task of composing the rest of Soul Saga's soundtrack. I've written quite a few tunes so far, and it's been such a pleasure working with Mike and with the previous composers through the great music they've worked on. I definitely get a lot of inspiration from those, and also the story and visuals of the game.
As Soul Saga is Mike's love letter to the classic games, my music is my own love letter to the genre's greatest composers.
